Abu Dhabi:
For the first time in this year’s edition of Indian Premier League, fans will
see two matches being held on the same day. Up until today, only a single match
has had been played with the fixture starting at 07:30 pm in the evening.
Today, the Royal Challengers Bangalore will be playing Rajasthan Royals at
03:30 in the afternoon. Following the early afternoon match, Delhi Capitals
will clash with Kolkata Knight Riders in the evening match that starts at the
usual time of 07:30 pm. Royal Challengers Bangalore started their IPL campaign
with a bang by registering a win against perpetual underdogs, Sunrisers
Hyderabad. They lost their second game to Kings XI Punjab who has been
surprisingly well-off this year But, Bangalore team managed to win against the
defending champions in a thrilling super-over match.
As for the
Rajasthan Royals, Sanju Samson has had been playing brilliantly in this year’s
IPL propelling his team towards a win under tougher circumstances. Rajasthan is
coming into today’s match losing against Kolkata Knight Riders after winning
their first two matches. Regardless of the outcome, cricketing fans are
awaiting for today’s matches and as always has been the case for Indian Premier
League, one could not border on insanity if he or she expects 200+ scores in
both games today.
