Rural innovator
Mr. Narasimha Chary has developed an optimum lux UV-C light than can kill viral
particles. The UV-C light developed by Nizamabad native does not have filament.
To viral particles be neutralized, the lux should be very high and if the UV-C
light is not capable of high rate lux, it will result in bursting of filament.
To
counteract this problem, Mr. Chary created circuit technology that will
increase the lux to maximum which can help the light to kill viral particles.
In more good
news, Mr. Chary’s technology has been tested and approved by Scientific and Industrial
Research Centre for Cellular & Molecular Biology (CISR – CCMB) The UV-C
light has been tested on coronavirus and validated by CCMB.
Narasimha
Chary earned high praise from CCMB director Rakesh Mishra. Currently, CCMB and Telangana
State Innovation Cell (TSIC) is working with the innovator to explore future opportunities.
Narasimha says that he currently holds provisional patent of the technology.
