Dubai: Royal
Challengers Bangalore will face Delhi Capitals in this evening’s game that will
be played at Dubai International Stadium. Virat Kohli led the team to a winning
start in their opening match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Then they lost to Kings
XI Punjab but registered two consecutive wins against Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan
Royals in the latter had seen the skipper Kohli come to form in a fierce
batting performance scoring 72 runs of 53 balls. Bangalore would want their
skipper to remain in form in their long journey to win the title. In the past
few seasons, the Bangalore fans bemoaned as to why their side could not compete
adequately against top teams despite having talents like Virat Kohli, AB du
Plessis in their ranks.
As for the
Delhi team, Shreyas Iyer will want to set an example for the rest of his team-mates
by continuing to excel at batting. After two days of double matches on a single
match day, Indian Premier League will continue from Monday with the only
fixture per evening daily. Still, the cricketing fans will be feasted with more
than ample amount of matches between some of the best domestic teams in the
world before the league wraps up on November 10th.
