returns with two matches on Saturday with Rajasthan Royals facing Royal
Challengers Bangalore in a mid-afternoon match and Delhi Capital meeting
Chennai Super Kings later in the evening. As for the first match, Rajasthan
Royals had lost their previous meeting against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Royal Challengers Bangalore had come close to winning in their last match
against Kings XI Punjab and painfully rued for another five to ten runs on the
scoreboard which could have a good chance for Bangalore bowlers to lead the
team to victory. Rajasthan Royals had lost their last match to Delhi Capitals
who have been looking to be nab a place surely in this year playoffs.
Virat Kohli would be looking to
continue his form against the Rajasthan Royals and despite scoring only two
runs in their meeting against Kings XI Punjab, Ab de Villiers is expected to
come out roaring in today’s fixture. Chris Morris would once again prove to be
vital for his team’s chances of winning this evening and Devdutt Padikkal would
be looking to post a good score against Rajasthan Royals. He had scored half a
century against Rajasthan in the reverse fixture. Rajasthan’s players, Jofra
Archer, Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler would be needing to record a good performance
if they were to contain Bangalore’s bowling attack. Sanju Samson and Steve
Smith would have to step up if their team stands a chance of winning against
Royal Challengers Bangalore.
