TELANGANA DISTRICTS VIGILANT AFTER IMD ISSUES HEAVY RAIN WARNINGS

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued warnings that several districts in the state of Telangana are set to experience heavy rainfall over the period of coming two days. Earlier, Sangareddy District and Uppal in Hyderabad experienced heavy rainfall than normal this monsoon season. Temperatures dipped in several areas this year as this year’s monsoon has brought increased rate of rainfall than in previous years.

The following districts are expected to experience heavy rains – Adilabad, Asifabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Mancherial, Kamareddy, Sircilla, Karimnagar, Pedapalli, Bhupalpalli, Mulugu, Warangal Urban, Warangal Rural, Mahabubabad, Kothagudam & Khammam.

K. Chandrasekhar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana State reviewed the matter with the Chief Secretary. Later in the day, the Chief Secretary has told all The Collectors and the police forces in the concerned districts to be observant and take strict precautionary measures so that the public won’t experience any loss of property or life.
