Deepika
Padukone was one of many major players in Bollywood to be questioned by
Narcotics Control Bureau in a case related to the death of actor Sushant Singh
Rajput. On Saturday morning, Deepika Padukone was questioned by NCB officials
for five hours. Deepika Padukone arrived in Mumbai along with her husband,
Ranveer Singh late Friday evening from Goa where she was in midst of shooting a
new film.
According to
a report in India today, Deepika reportedly confessed about the chats
referencing drugs with her manager Karishma Prakash does indeed belong to her
but denied of ever taking drugs. Deepika Padukone’s phone was seized by NCB
officials. NCB also seized phones belonging to Rakul Preet Singh, Karishma
Prakash and Khambatta.
The full
details regarding the case have not yet been released to media and public but
the B-Town celebrities involved in the case have become under heavy scrutiny
from both media and public. In 2015, Deepika Padukone founded a non-profit organization
called, “The Live Laugh Love Foundation” to combat mental illnesses.
