In the last
week, some of the most major players in Bollywood have had been questioned by
Narcotics Control Board. The actresses include Deepika Padukone, Shraddha
Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh. The scenario of NCB officials questioning the
actresses stemmed from the investigation of death of late Bollywood Actor
Sushant Singh Rajput. The actor committed suicide and the law enforcement
agencies began to investigate if there are any unusual circumstances had played
part in his demise.
The
investigation resulted in the current investigation by NCB who are questioning
several key figures in Bollywood. On Saturday, Deepika Padukone was questioned
for more than 5 hours by NCB officials and actresses Rakul Preet Singh and
Shraddha Kapoor also questioned on the same day. NCB seized mobile phones of
these actresses for analysis and they say the mobiles might prove to be significant
in the case.
For their part,
all actresses denied ever using illegal substances. The scandal rocked the
B-Town as never before which has its share of shocking scandals in the past.
