Tasmania Beach,
the Southern island beach in Australia has seen more than 270 whales beached
with officials saying 90 were found dead. The event has precedence when similar
whale beaching occurred in 2009. Now, 40 rescuers are in efforts to push whales
back into the water. Rescuers intend to push the whales first into the water
and if the condition of whales were stable, they attempt to push the mammoth mammals
further into the sea.
The reason
is unknown as to why the whales wash up at the beaches. Wildlife biologists
have yet to determine the cause of this phenomena. As for now, the mass whale
washups and death are grave concerns.
